Grizzly Peak Boulders

Scary Overhang

Scary overhang is a wicked tough problem on the main boulder of Grizzly Peak Boulders. It starts with a sit start, and two nice textured pockets, and heads up towards the smooth roof.

Hanging Traverse

A nice hanging problem, Lots of good holds, but it's also quite pumpy and has quite dangerous landings. I'd hear debate about downgrading it to a V0.

Start with hands on the top corner, and one heel hooked overtop, then weasel your way along the top corner. I suggest putting some padding over the back-breakin' boulder behind you.

Left Arete

Stand Start up the left (south-west) corner of the main boulder. Just run up to the top, and it's a fun day!

Grizzly Peak Warmup

Grizzly Peak's warmup is a pretty simple traverse along the flat side of the main boulder, east face. It's a good warmup. There are also some ascension problems there, and a lot of eliminates. For a little extra challenge, go around the right corner (aka Left Arete), and back.
